    iOS Application Development

The Challenge

One of the nation’s largest data providers for Medicare insurance companies had been looking for a mobile solution which would allow their marketing and sales partners to push a new sales approach in the Medicare market. This would be the first ever iPad-based field app in the Medicare space. Time to market was critical, with the whole application needing to be production-ready in only 4 months

Due to the aggressive timeline the UI/UX design and the development teams worked concurrently. Wireframes, iOS application development, and integration with the existing line of business application was done effectively by both onshore and offshore teams.

The Solution

Technossus provided both a local and remote development team to meet the aggressive schedule. The native iOS application was built to support key functionality which was the basis for the application’s adoption and success in the market.

The pilot project was an extreme success. After the first year in production, the client received the most enrollments in the company’s history. A number of the country’s largest health insurance providers signed up to have branded versions of their apps created for the next Medicare enrollment season.
